Current Research Studies

We are currently enrolling patients in the following clinical trials, designed to explore new treatments and improve outcomes for a variety of GI conditions. If you meet the criteria and are interested in participating, we encourage you to reach out for more information.

(NASH) Study

Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis
Who Can Participate:
  • Adults 18 years and older
  • Diagnosed with Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH)
  • Willing to undergo a liver biopsy to determine eligibility and at the end of the study
  • Willing to participate in MRI scans

(PBC) Study

Primary Biliary Cholangitis
Who Can Participate:
  • Adults 18 years and older
  • Liver biopsy consistent with Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC)
  • Elevated ALP levels during screening
  • Current treatment must be stable for more than 3 months

EoE Study

Eosinophilic Esophagitis
Who Can Participate:
  • Adults aged 18-65 years
  • Active Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) confirmed through upper endoscopy
  • Experience dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) at least twice per week
  • No dilation procedures within the last 12 weeks
  • No corticosteroid treatment for EoE within the last 8 weeks

Crohn’s Disease Study

Perianal Fistula Study
Who Can Participate:
  • Adults aged 18-75 years
  • Diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease for at least 6 months
  • Must have an active perianal fistula(s)
  • Current medications must be stable

Colorectal Cancer Screening

Specialty Rhinology 5 Study
Who Can Participate:
  • Adults 55 years or older
  • No previous history of colorectal cancer or other GI diseases
  • Willing to undergo a screening colonoscopy or already scheduled for one
  • Willing to provide a stool sample (optional blood test available)
