Meet Katie Ingle , DNP, FNP
Title: Doctor of Nursing Practice
Katie Ingle was born and raised in central Iowa. She then received her Bachelor’s of Nursing from the University of Iowa. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree she went on to receive her master’s degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University and her doctorate in Nursing from the University of Minnesota.After graduating with her Master’s in 2005, Katie worked in the ER until moving to Alaska in 2008. From 2008-2020 Katie worked mainly in primary care and joined the RCMC team in 2021.
Katie has spent the past five years learning about functional medicine and became certified in 2020. Since gut health is the cornerstone of functional medicine care, gastroenterology is a great place to work and apply functional medicine concepts. Katie loves working with her co-workers and fellow practitioners to help patients improve their gut health.
As a caregiver, Katie's primary goal is to make sure her patients feel heard and understood. In her free time, Katie enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors with her family.
