Meet Emily Baertsch , C-NP
Title: Certified Nurse Practioner
Emily is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner she graduated in 2004 with a BS in Kinesiology and a coaching minor from the University of Minnesota. After graduation, Emily worked as an RN at MH for 11 years in acute care in the float pool and house supervisor role. She graduated from South Dakota State University in 2008 with her BSN and then returned to receive her Doctorate of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Emily got interested in hepatology after losing her father to liver cancer in 2011. Her favorite thing about working at The Endoscopy Center is helping her patients achieve their health goals and the ability to work with a team. Her main goal as a caregiver is to help patients live their best life. Outside of work Emily enjoys spending time with friends and family in the Black Hills, reading, and cooking. You may also find her officiating High School Gymnastics which she has done for the past 15 years.Specialties
